Proposed FY 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program Available for Review

The City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) document an important planning level communication tool for the community.  The CIP identifies infrastructure projects planned to be initiated over the next five fiscal years.  The CIP is developed using various technical resources and requirements, and balances competing priorities within financial constraints to efficiently address the growing number of infrastructure deficiencies across the City.  The CIP also informs the City’s budget process, as projects identified in the first two years will be incorporated into the BN 2025-27 (biennial) budget.

The proposed FY 2026-2030 CIP was made available for public review on February 13, 2025.  Community comments were forwarded to the City Council for consideration at their March 20, 2025 joint meeting with the Budget Commission, where the proposed CIP was reviewed.  Staff was not directed to make substantive changes to the proposed CIP, however the current version of the document includes minor changes based on current project information as well as requests from the Council/Budget Commission and general public.
