Bulk Water
City of Corvallis Bulk Water Station
Public Works provides a bulk water dispensing station for the convenience of contractors, street sweeping companies and people trucking water for domestic use.
The bulk water station is located on Plumley Place near the Corvallis Airport. It is accessible seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
How to purchase and access the water:
- Obtain a bulk water scada key at Public Work’s main office, 1245 NE Third Street, Corvallis. A $150 deposit for the key is required.
- Access the water at the bulk water dispensing station on Plumley Place. Three fittings are available, a standard hose fitting, a fire hose fitting, and a camlock fitting.
- The cost is $20 each time you access the bulk water station. Access will be tracked electronically by the scada key.
- To assure the best water quality, we recommend you disinfect the hose outlet threads before attaching your hose. To disinfect, spray the fitting with a 50 percent water/50 percent bleach solution.
- Dispense the desired volume of water, turn off the hand valve at the hose connection and disconnect your fill hose, then close and relock the cabinet door.
- You must “reauthorize” your key once a month at Public Work’s main office.
Bulk water station scada keys may not be sold or transferred to another party. If the key or dispensing unit is misused or damaged, your eligibility to access the station may be revoked and you could be subject to a fine and repair and/or replacement costs.
