Housing and Neighborhood Services

It is the mission of the Housing and Neighborhood Services Division to facilitate community livability and to assist with the creation and maintenance of affordable, habitable housing opportunities for lower-income and/or housing disadvantaged Corvallis residents. We do these things by:

  • Providing community outreach and education programs that address fair housing, rental housing, and community livability;
  • Developing resources to help neighborhoods engage with one another and their local government;
  • Offering financial assistance programs to help lower-income residents rehabilitate a Corvallis home;
  • Designing and delivering financial assistance programs to help non-profit owners and developers of housing create and maintain affordable opportunities for lower-income renters and homeowners; and
  • Providing technical and financial assistance to agencies that serve the housing and social services needs of lower-income residents.
