Downtown Parking
Welcome to Downtown Corvallis!
There is plenty of free parking available as you explore our vibrant downtown. Our Free Customer Parking Area is located in the heart of downtown and limited to 3 hours per block. Metered parking is available adjacent to the Free Customer Parking Area and free unrestricted parking in the areas beyond that. The Free Customer Parking Area and metered spaces are enforced daily between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM except Sundays and holidays. Customer FREE Parking
The core of downtown has free on-street parking and three parking lots for customers, with a 3-hour time limit Monday – Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM The parking lots are located at:
- 2nd Street, between Monroe and Madison Avenues
- 2nd Street, between Madison and Jefferson Avenues
- 3rd Street, between Jefferson and Adams Avenues
The 3-hour time limit applies to both sides of any block. If visitors wish to stay longer than 3 hours, the vehicle must be moved to another block under Corvallis Municipal Code Section 6.10.040.100 - Moving vehicle.
Employees, business owners, volunteers, and downtown residents are prohibited under Municipal Code 6.11.300 from using these spaces on the days and hours listed above. Penalties for violation are $40 - $100, depending on how many cumulative violations are recorded to a person under this section.
In addition, there are two free parking lots available at:
- 1st Street, north of Van Buren Avenue
- "B" Avenue and 2nd Street (except for poster permit spaces)
Parking Options for Employees, Business Owners, and Downtown Residents
These individuals, along with the general public, are welcome to park in the free public parking lot at 2nd Street and “B” Avenue and the free on-street parking on 1st Street north of Van Buren Avenue. Other options for longer term parking include the 10-hour meters (yellow tops) and the Purple or Yellow permit lots. Arrangements may also be made with the owners of the many private parking lots throughout the downtown.
