Red line on a map of 9th Street in Corvallis

June 21, 2022 - The annual summer road construction season is underway in Corvallis. Resurfacing of 9th Street from Circle Boulevard to Conifer Boulevard will be done at night from June 26 through July 1.  Night time working hours will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Work includes asphalt grinding, paving, and restriping of the travel lanes. In order to protect the work zone, the following traffic adjustments will be made during night work:

  • The intersection of 9th Street and Circle Boulevard will be closed to traffic in all directions from 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26 until 6 a.m. Monday, June 27. Detours will be posted and flaggers will be on-site to assist travelers.
  • Monday evening June 27 to Friday morning July 1, 9th Street between Circle and Conifer will be restricted to single-lane traffic in each direction.
  • Monday evening June 27 to Friday morning July 1, the intersection of 9th Street and Walnut Boulevard will be closed to eastbound and westbound traffic. Detours will be posted and flaggers will be on-site to assist motorists.

Corvallis Transit Service (CTS) will continue to serve these areas. Route 2 stops between Circle and Conifer will be closed at times to facilitate construction. All changes to CTS stops or routes will be posted on the City’s website at www.corvallisoregon.gov/cts. Bus riders can also sign up to receive service alerts via email.

As always, this schedule is subject to change due to impacts from weather and unforeseen delays. Thank you for your patience as we make the most of our relatively short summer road construction season in Corvallis.
