Samaritan Drive Entrance Closed for Street Repairs

The entrance to Samaritan Drive is closed at NW Elks Drive for street repairs all day on Monday, June 4. Detours are in place to direct visitors to Satinwood Street to access Samaritan Drive and enter the hospital campus.

Routes 2 and 7 will be detoured around Samaritan Drive all day on Monday, June 4 due to street repairs at Samaritan Drive and Elks Drive. Both routes will be traveling Elks and Samaritan Drive in a clockwise direction, rather than counterclockwise. Riders are advised to use the Route 4 bus stops on the opposite side of Elks Drive and Samaritan Drive, as the two routes will be coming from the other direction.

The closures are the result of a water main break that took place Sunday afternoon. Although the break was repaired on Sunday, the site still needs to be properly repaired before it can be safely used by the public. Public Works staff expect that the street repairs will be completed Monday.
