Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Parking Lot

On December 22nd, 2021, at approximately 3:07pm, Corvallis Police Department Officers responded along with Corvallis Fire Department to a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Trader Joe’s at 1550 NW 9th ST.   Officers learned that the driver, an 87 year old Philomath resident, was traveling through the parking lot at low speeds in rainy conditions and struck a 75 year old female, Albany resident.  The pedestrian was conscious and alert but was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance where she was in stable condition.

Corvallis Police Officers are continuing to investigate the crash.
