Corvallis Police Respond to Crash at Hwy 99W and Conifer Bv.

On Monday, September 5th, 2022, at about 9:00pm Officers from the Corvallis Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at the intersection of Hwy 99W and Conifer Bv.  On arrival, officers assisted in providing aid to three pedestrians involved in the crash; the pedestrians suffered serious but apparently non-life threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

Based on information received at this time, it appears the driver of the involved vehicle, a 27-year-old Corvallis resident, was driving southbound on Hwy 99W with a green light when the three pedestrians (21-, 22-, and 25-year-old Corvallis residents) crossed Hwy 99W while the pedestrian control indicated ‘do not walk’.  The driver stopped immediately after the crash and cooperated with investigating officers.  At this time, there have been no arrests or citations related to this crash.

This investigation is ongoing; anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that would assist in the investigation is encouraged to contact the Corvallis Police Department at 541-766-6924.

The Corvallis Police Department would like to thank the quick response of Corvallis Fire Department EMTs who provided aid to those injured in the crash.
