Bigfoot Enlisted for Fire Department’s “Believe in Fire Safety” Campaign

The Corvallis Fire Department is encouraging the Corvallis community to keep an eye out for a larger-than-life visitor in the community this summer. Bigfoot (a cardboard stand-up, that is) will be lurking at popular spots in Corvallis this summer as part of a statewide campaign to promote fire safety.

Community members who spot Bigfoot in the wild will have an opportunity to learn about fire safety with CFD fire prevention officers. They can also enter to win one of several fun prizes, including a fire truck tour, a hands-on fire hose drill, and a Bigfoot t-shirt.
