Residential Demolition Proposed

245 NW 12th St

A demolition permit application has been submitted to Development Services, to demolish a detached carport at 245 NW 12th St.

As required under City Municipal Code Section 9.01.100.100, a minimum of 50 calendar days prior to issuance of a demolition permit, the owner shall be required to make the structure available to be acquired and moved by a willing party.

SW Corvallis Area Plan Updates

The City is in the beginning stages of developing the SW Corvallis Area Plan. This is roughly the area that is west of the Marys River, and south of SW Reservoir Avenue (see the map below). Please note, this is different than the area plan for South Corvallis (Southtown), which is already underway.

Ward 3 Meeting

Please join City Councilor Jim Moorefield (Ward 3) a for a ward meeting. City staff will also be in attendance.

The meeting will held at 6:30 pm at the Lincoln Elementary School Commons (110 SE Alexander Avenue).

Route 4 Detour 11/18

Due to tree work in the area, the following detour will be in place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Southbound on 5th St., west on Jefferson Ave, north on 9th St., west on Buchanan Ave, resume regular route.

SW Corvallis Area Plan Community Meeting

In this kickoff public event for the SW Corvallis Area Plan, project staff will guide attendees through an interactive input session to map area opportunities, challenges, and assets. You are invited to give us your ideas on how to improve connections for people driving, walking, and biking, and the best locations for future housing, shopping, and employment. Food and supervised children's activities will be provided.
