Parks & Facility Closure Information
Please see the list below of potential impacts to parks or facilities due to flooding, weather or other temporary events below.
Downed trees throughout our parks system are common during weather events. Our Urban Forestry experts will assess the damage and clear downed trees as soon as possible!
Please do not attempt to clear trees yourself. If a tree is down in your area, please call Urban Forestry at 541-766-1723 to report it.
We appreciate your help in keeping our parks safe and healthy!
Inclement weather procedures for Parks & Recreation programs that take place in Corvallis School District Facilities (basketball, volleyball, etc.):
If the Corvallis schools are closed due to inclement weather, the programs are canceled for that day. No practices or adult games, even if the weather improves.
If the schools open for the day and the weather situation worsens throughout the day, please call the weather line, (541) 766-6921, after 5 p.m. to find out the status of your games for that night.
For the Saturday youth basketball programs, call the weather line at (541) 766-6921, after 7 a.m. to find out the status of that day’s programs.
Programming happening in Parks & Recreation facilities such as Osborn Aquatic Center, Majestic Theatre, Corvallis Community Center, and our Parks & Rec meeting rooms will still be scheduled as planned unless notified.
