Neighborhood Tree Stewards
The Corvallis Neighborhood Tree Stewards Program is a collaborative effort between dedicated local volunteers, neighborhood associations, CBUF, and the City of Corvallis. Its mission is to identify, acknowledge and collaborate with community members to increase public engagement in tree planting and tree care in Corvallis. This is accomplished through year round engagement with local partners to involve the community in tree planting and tree care activities and education.
Specific projects include:
- identifying tree planting opportunities
- tree planting events
- tree bed care and beautification opportunities
- pruning classes
- annual volunteer recognition events
- tree tours
