Caldwell Natural Area

In south Corvallis, West of Hwy 99. No public access at this time.

Caldwell Natural Area was purchased as part of the 2000 Open Space bond measure. It features the Marys River bordering riparian vegetation, wetlands and a floodplain ideal for wildlife habitat. There are no existing trails. Access is currently limited to individuals who have obtained a Special Use Permit from Corvallis Parks & Recreation. Future public access is planned. Marys River Natural Area lies directly across the river from Caldwell Natural Area.
