The person being treated may be unconscious; and loved ones, if present, are under tremendous stress and may be unable to think clearly or trust their powers of recollection.

Every year in the U.S., there are almost 16,000 collisions involving fire department emergency vehicles while responding to or returning from incidents. These collisions have resulted in over 1,000 firefighter injuries and just under 50 deaths. 

License Applications

The City of Corvallis requires licenses for liquor, tobacco and social gaming in addition to a Used Merchandise license for pawnbrokers, precious metals dealers, gems and coins dealers, used merchandise dealers, and scrap metal dealers.

License applications are listed below. Depending on the type of license, applicants may be asked to return their completed application to one of several City departments for processing. About Finance

The Finance Department for the City of Corvallis includes administrative operations for the Municipal Court, City Services and Ambulance billing, Accounting, Budget, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Property Risk Management for the financial resources of the City. These services are provided by 17 staff members, with a 2022-2023 budget of roughly 5.17 million.
