Whether you're looking for a place to play baseball, soccer, softball,  sand volleyball,  disc golf, or horseshoes, we have you covered!  Ball fields are are conveniently located in parks throughout Corvallis, while disc golf and horseshoe pits are located in Avery Park. If not reserved, fields are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis (unless they have been closed due to playing conditions - players should call the Sports Rainout Line, 541-766-6921, for information on field closures). All fields are available for rent from April through October (availability dependent on field conditions).

 Most Sports Fields Feature:

  • Potable water via drinking fountains (except Crystal Lake)
  • Handicap-accessible public restrooms and/or portable restrooms (open April 1 - October 31)
  • Renter-provided privately rented portable restrooms allowed (siting must be approved by Parks staff)
  • Renter-provided tables and chairs allowed (cannot block access to other parts of the parks)
  • Renter-provided electricity generators and catering allowed
  • Option to allow alcohol service & consumption, the selling of products and services, and/or amplified sound (permits required)

 Soccer Fields:

  • Crystal Lake Sports Complex: 10 fields
  • Garfield Park: 1 field
 Softball Fields:
  • Chintimini Park: 2 fields
  • Pioneer Park: 1 field (with lights)
  • Porter Park: 1 field
  • Sunset Park: 2 fields (with lights)
  • Washington Park: 1 field
Volleyball Courts:
  •  Chintimini Park - 4 courts (sand)
Tennis Courts: 
  • Cloverland Park - 2 courts
Pickleball Courts:
  • NE Corner next to Corvallis School District Building & Adams Elementary
  • Chintimini Park - 2 courts 
Other Fields:
  •  Avery Park Horseshoe Pits: 10 pits
  • Willamette Disc Golf Course: an 18 "hole" course
Rental Times & Rates
Each sports field is rented by either a 2-hour block or by the day (8 am - 10 pm). Sports fields are rented in "as is" condition; field preparation is managed in priority according to staff and resource availability. Your rental fee gives you first right to use the field but does not guarantee any specific field preparation prior to use. Your reservation time must include time to set up and tear down your event. Rates are:
  • Baseball & Softball Fields (prices shown are per field, unless otherwise noted):
    • Mondays - Thursdays: $35 per 2-hour block, or $75 per day, OR $210 per day for three fields (applies to any mix of fields, except those at Crystal Lake Sports Complex).
    • Fridays - Sundays and Holidays: $55 per 2-hour block, or $100 per day, OR $280 per day for three fields (applies to any mix of fields, except those at Crystal Lake Sports Complex).
  • Crystal Lake Baseball Fields: use of the baseball fields at Crystal Lake is available by contract only. To discuss contract arrangements and pricing, please call Matt Rouleau, Parks Lead Worker, at (541) 754-1747.
  • Soccer Fields (prices shown are per field, unless otherwise noted):
    • Mondays - Thursdays: $35 per 2-hour block, or $130 per day for one field, OR at Crystal Lake Sports Complex, $315 per day for five fields or $630 per day for ten fields.
    • Fridays - Sundays and Holidays: $55 per 2-hour block, or $185 per day for one field, OR at the Crystal Lake Sports Complex, $420 per day for five fields, or $840 per day for ten fields.
  • Volleyball Courts (prices shown are per court, unless otherwise noted):
    • Mondays - Thursdays: $35 per 2-hour block, or $75 per day.
    • Fridays - Sundays and Holidays: $55 per 2-hour block, or $100 per day.
  •  Pickleball & Tennis Courts: Free for first come, first served basis. Fee to reserve courts for a block of time
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​Mondays - Thursdays: $35 per 2-hour block, or $75 per day.
    • Fridays - Sundays and Holidays: $55 per 2-hour block, or $100 per day.

  • Other Fields:  Rental and reserved use of the Avery Park Horseshoe Pits and the Willamette Disc Golf Course is available by contract only.  Please call (541) 766-6918 for details.

All fees are subject to change without notice. Additional fees/requirements may apply, especially for activities or events outside of a standard group gathering. Our staff can help you determine if these fees apply to your event. 
 
Optional Special Use Permits
  • Alcohol (alcohol service and consumption allowed until 10 pm with permit): $12 [permit must be requested at least 30 days prior to the event, and can only be issued to someone age 21 and over (ID required)]. You will be given a copy of the City's codes regarding alcohol in public places and must agree to abide by them.
  • Concessions (required for events involving an admission fee or the sale of products/services): $120
  • Sound (amplified): $5. You will be given a copy of the City's codes regarding amplified sound in public places and must agree to abide by them.
  • Site plan review by Parks Division staff (if needed): $50 minimum

Additional Options to Enhance Your Rental

  • Reservable Park Shelters: Reservable park shelters are available at Avery Park and Willamette Park. Adding a park shelter can provide your event with a central "command" center, a post-game gathering space, or a shaded place for teams to relax and refuel between games at a tournament.  Shelters come with picnic tables, barbecue grills, and have potable water within the shelter or nearby. Learn more.
  • Chintimini Park Designated Event Spaces: The designated event spaces at Chintimini Park provide a place specifically set aside for your guests to enjoy. Great for adding a picnic, barbecue, or children's play area to your event. Learn more. 
  • Softball, Horseshoe, Croquet & Volleyball Equipment: Equipment sets for playing softball, horseshoes, croquet, and volleyball are available for rent from the Avery Office for $10 per set, per day. A $25 credit card deposit is required (fully refunded upon return of the equipment).
