Sports Fields
Whether you're looking for a place to play baseball, soccer, softball, sand volleyball, disc golf, or horseshoes, we have you covered! Ball fields are are conveniently located in parks throughout Corvallis, while disc golf and horseshoe pits are located in Avery Park. If not reserved, fields are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis (unless they have been closed due to playing conditions - players should call the Sports Rainout Line, 541-766-6921, for information on field closures). All fields are available for rent from April through October (availability dependent on field conditions).

Rental Times & Rates | |
Each sports field is rented by either a 2-hour block or by the day (8 am - 10 pm). Sports fields are rented in "as is" condition; field preparation is managed in priority according to staff and resource availability. Your rental fee gives you first right to use the field but does not guarantee any specific field preparation prior to use. Your reservation time must include time to set up and tear down your event. All fees are subject to change without notice. Additional fees/requirements may apply, especially for activities or events outside of a standard group gathering. Our staff can help you determine if these fees apply to your event. |
- Alcohol (alcohol service and consumption allowed until 10 pm with permit): $12 [permit must be requested at least 30 days prior to the event, and can only be issued to someone age 21 and over (ID required)]. You will be given a copy of the City's codes regarding alcohol in public places and must agree to abide by them.
- Concessions (required for events involving an admission fee or the sale of products/services): $120
- Sound (amplified): $5. You will be given a copy of the City's codes regarding amplified sound in public places and must agree to abide by them.
- Site plan review by Parks Division staff (if needed): $50 minimum
Additional Options to Enhance Your Rental
- Reservable Park Shelters: Reservable park shelters are available at Avery Park and Willamette Park. Adding a park shelter can provide your event with a central "command" center, a post-game gathering space, or a shaded place for teams to relax and refuel between games at a tournament. Shelters come with picnic tables, barbecue grills, and have potable water within the shelter or nearby. Learn more.
- Chintimini Park Designated Event Spaces: The designated event spaces at Chintimini Park provide a place specifically set aside for your guests to enjoy. Great for adding a picnic, barbecue, or children's play area to your event. Learn more.
- Softball, Horseshoe, Croquet & Volleyball Equipment: Equipment sets for playing softball, horseshoes, croquet, and volleyball are available for rent from the Avery Office for $10 per set, per day. A $25 credit card deposit is required (fully refunded upon return of the equipment).
