The Rotary Shelter features beautiful views of the Willamette River. Located in dog-friendly Willamette Park, this shelter puts you close to lots of great activities including sports fields, walking and jogging paths, Frisbee golf courses, and more.  The Rotary Shelter is available to rent year-round.

 

Capacity: 143 under the roof; 300 in the surrounding area
Location: at the end of SE Goodnight Street - follow the road to the end; the shelter will be on your right as you enter the Park

Rental Times & Rates

The Rotary Shelter is rented in 1-hour time blocks. Your reservation time must include time to set up and tear down your event. Your time block choices are 8 am to 10 pm. Rates are:

  • Mondays - Thursdays: $25 per 1-hour block ($21 per 1-hour block for IRS-certified tax-exempt organizations)
  • Fridays - Sundays and Holidays: $31 per 1-hour block ($27 per 1-hour block for IRS-certified tax-exempt organizations)

All fees are subject to change without notice. Additional fees/requirements may apply, especially for activities or events outside of a standard group gathering. Our staff can help you determine if these fees apply to your event.

 

Optional Permits

  • Alcohol may be consumed with the purchase of a $12 alcohol permit and proof of $1 million in General Liability Insurance.  Read about Alcohol Permits.
  • Sound (amplified): $5. You will be given a copy of the City's codes regarding amplified sound in public places and must agree to abide by them.

  Additional Options to Enhance Your Rental

  • Softball, Horseshoe, Croquet & Volleyball Equipment: Equipment sets for playing softball, horseshoes, croquet, and volleyball are available for rent from the Avery Office for $10 per set, per day. A $25 credit card deposit is required (fully refunded upon return of the equipment).
