Apply to be a Volunteer Firefighter

Volunteer Firefighter Minimum Requirements:

  1. Minimum age of 18 years
  2. High School graduate or GED
  3. Valid Oregon driver license upon appointment
  4. Driving record which meets City requirements
  5. Successful completion of background and reference check
  6. No felony convictions
  7. Certification by a licensed health care professional as able to perform the duties of a firefighter in accordance with NFPA 1582*
  8. Ability to perform physical firefighting and rescue tasks in adverse conditions

Lodging Tax Payments

The City of Corvallis, Benton County, and State lodging tax should be remitted to the Oregon Department of Revenue. For questions, please contact (541) 766-6729 ext. 5138.

 

If you collect payment from lodging customers, you are responsible for collecting the lodging tax. The City of Corvallis, Benton County, and State lodging tax should be remitted to the Oregon Department of Revenue. Under the law, whoever collects payment for occupancy is responsible for collecting and remitting the tax as the Lodging Tax Collector.
