Recent favorable atmospheric conditions have helped contain the fires in neighboring counties.

City Manager Mark Shepard declared a local emergency for the City of Corvallis as the city organization mobilizes resources to assist with the countywide response to severe wildfires affecting the mid-valley area. The announcement came at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, September 10.

Traffic control measures will be in place daily to accommodate the progression of grinding and paving as crews move down Circle.

Pursuant to Governor Brown’s Executive Order 20-16, item 2.a., issued on April 16, 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this Planning Commission meeting will be conducted online only. The Fire Station Meeting Room will be closed to the public.

How Can I Participate?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people wishing to participate in the meeting are strongly encouraged to submit their comments in writing.
