Loan Programs

The City of Corvallis provides loans to qualified applicants for  home improvements, and essential services loans.

Land Use Applications

The Planning Division is responsible for processing most of the land use applications that are established by Article II of the Land Development Code. There are two basic types of land use applications:

Volunteer for an Advisory Board, Commission or Task Force

Volunteer organizations contribute many hundreds of hours annually and help ensure the smooth operation of local government in Corvallis. Advisory Board and Commission appointments are made by the Mayor and are confirmed by the City Council. Use this form to begin the application process.

2016 Urbanization Study

What is the Urbanization Study?

The final draft of the 2016 Corvallis Urbanization Study was completed in November of 2016. The City formally adopted the Urbanization Study as part of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment in 2019 (Ordinance 2019-14), which includes 2019 amendments contained in Appendix C of the study.

Planning Work Program

OVERVIEW
A portion of the Planning Division mission is to respond to community development goals that are established by the City Council and community members. The City Council goals often have their genesis in discussions with citizens and other interested parties, who are actively engaged in promoting, improving, and enhancing this community's livability. Council goals are formalized through adoption of the Strategic Operational Plan.

Natural Features

OVERVIEW
The City of Corvallis adopted Natural Features protections as part of the implementation of Phase III of the 2006 Land Development Code (LDC). In addition to the Natural Hazards and Natural Resources Overlays that are illustrated on the City's zoning and comprehensive plan maps, additional maps and data sheets are available below, which provide more detailed descriptions of the natural features that are protected under the 2006 LDC provisions.
