Neighborhood Incentive Grant Available ($1000) - The CPNA collected over $18,000 in contributions and exceeded its original goal of $16,000 to construct a microshelter. The extra money will be used to fund two $1,000 incentive grants for other Corvallis neighborhood associations interested in sponsoring a similar microshelter project. CPNA thanks all those who contributed and Unity Shelter for organizing, placing, and managing microshelters in our community. If your association is interested in an incentive grant for a similar project, contact Courtney Cloyd.
City's Mixed Use Project Moves into Implementation - After more than two years of public involvement, the City’s Mixed Use Zones Project is moving into a 3-phase implementation. Phase 1 will begin with a public hearing at the Planning Commission meeting in the near future. Planning staff has put together a storymap which explains the project and provides an interactive map of recommended changes to the City’s zoning map. The storymap provides an easy-to-read explanation of zoning and offers a tool to help you map your property in relation to the proposed changes.
