The Neighborhood Update is produced on a weekly(ish) basis by the City of Corvallis to help neighborhoods stay connected.

Benton County Risk Level: EXTREME RISK - The COVID-19 risk level determines which activities are permitted in the county. View the Risk Activity Guide | Follow the Benton County Data. 

Benton County Vaccine Distribution: Please note that the COVID-19 vaccine is not currently available to the general public. The Benton County Health Department is working, in accordance with the Oregon Health Authority guidance, to distribute the vaccine to eligible recipients in our community.   

  • Determine Eligibility - Scroll to the center of the webpage to view a chart that shows who is eligible. 
  • IF you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, complete Benton County’s Vaccine Assessment Survey to request a vaccination appointment.
  • Stay Informed - Benton County has launched a COVID-19 Vaccine website to help us stay informed as the vaccine rolls out locally. Benton County Vaccine FAQ (English | Spanish)

Corvallis Police Virtual Community Academy - Enroll by March 7 - CPD's Community Academy is going virtual in 2021. This popular nine-week course offers an opportunity for community members to learn about the Corvallis Police Department, the services it offers, how it delivers those services, and a chance to meet staff.  Its purpose is to build strong community-police partnerships and to enhance crime prevention awareness in Corvallis. Announcements & Upcoming Events

West Hills Neighborhood Association Meeting with Ward Councilors - February 25 @ 6p @ online - WHNA will host a meeting with City Council representatives Jan Napack (Ward 1) and Gabe Shepherd (Ward 4). The councilors will offer a broad overview of what is going on in the City, both city-wide, and on a Ward-level. Topics will include (1) what the Council is working on right now, and (2) what it will be working on in the future, and (3) upcoming public participation opportunities. Register to obtain meeting details.
