Benton County is on the COVID-19 Watchlist - Benton County was added to the Governor's Watchlist on October 2. Counties are placed on the Watch List when the virus is spreading quickly and public health officials cannot trace that spread to specific sources. Counties remain on the Watch List for a minimum of three weeks and until their sporadic case rates drop below these thresholds. Benton County has updated it's COVID-19 resource and data page. The updated page includes a live data dashboard, general guidance, video updates, a testing site locator, and information about the county phone hotline. City Club to Host Local Candidates Debate - October 13 @ 6:30p @ online - In Corvallis, our City Council is comprised of a mayor and a representative from each of our nine wards. All nine wards are on the ballot every two years in accordance with our City Charter. Benton County has a three-person County Commission and two seats are on the ballot in 2020. The City Club will co-host a virtual debate for each of the elected bodies on October 13. Learn more. What ward am I in? View the map.
Benton County Elections Office Website - The Benton County Elections Office maintains a comprehensive website for upcoming elections. The website includes important dates, ballot drop-off sites, and a voter pamphlet. Learn more.
Fall Leaf Collection Schedule - begins October 19 - 'Tis the season of fall leaves. The City’s Fall Leaf Collection Program for 2020 begins Monday, October 19, 2020 and runs through mid-December 2020. During this period, Republic Services will pick up leaf piles in the street once a week, generally on the same day as normal garbage collection.

State University COVID-19 Policies and Reporting - OSU has centralized COVID-19 materials, including FAQs and planning documents, on the COVID-19 Safety & Success website. Students living both on and off campus are required to follow the university's COVID-19 safety policies. Community members who observe a violation can report the violation using the OSU Community COVID-19 Report Form.
