Classes: Pound

When I walked in to my first Pound class as a student, I never expected to feel such a passion for a group fitness experience. When I teach Pound, I bring energy and positivity to an already awesome workout. I will always encourage my students to let the music and rhythmic power of drumming tale them away as they let everything else go. I love Pound because it is the mental and physical exercise that I need for balance and well-being. It helped change my life and I hope it can make a big impact for my students as well.

Classes: Nia

In my world, music + movement = magic! I’m passionate about healing power of dance – not performance-oriented dance, but that pure physical joy you express around the kitchen when a good song comes on. Our bodies have the power to generate greater aliveness, strength, flexibility, and freedom through regenerative movement. Let me gently guide you into moves (including dance, martial arts, and yoga) that help you achieve more power, precision, balance, and agility. I’m a black-belt certified Nia instructor with over 20 years teaching experience, a masters in Community Health Nursing, and a certified Health & Wellness Coach.

Classes: Essentrics

Robin Becker has been a Registered Dental Hygienist in Corvallis for the past thirty years.  She was certified in Fitness Nutrition Coaching from the International Sport Science Association (ISSA) in 2017.  She is also a fully certified Level 4 Essentrics Instructor, teaching classes since 2017. Her passion for teaching and helping others has been part of her DNA throughout her 60 years.

Here is Robin in her own words:

My exercise life was totally altered once I found Essentrics.  From the first time I tried it, I was hooked. This was the first exercise I had tried that felt pleasant and at the same time challenging.  I rapidly gained strength and flexibility, reshaped my body, got rid of my chronic pain and literally felt 10 years younger. I actually looked forward to doing Essentrics.  I hope you'll join me and see what Essentrics can do for you!
