Know Your City - Emergency Planning: How is the City of Corvallis Prepared? - January 19 @ 7:00p - 8:30p @ online - This year's League of Women Voters Know Your City program will kick-off with an event focused on how the City of Corvallis is preparing for a disaster. Dave Busby, the City’s Emergency Planning Manager, will explain what plans have been made to deal with the many types of events that could affect our community (fire, tsunami at the coast, flood, earthquake). County Commission advances towards JSIP Site Selection - January 20 @ 5:30p @ online  - The Benton County Commission will host a virtual public meeting to share information about West and North site options for the proposed Justice System Improvement Program (JSIP) facilities. The meeting will include (1) basic information for new participants, (2) current status of site selection process, (3) next steps in decision process.
