*NEW* Virtual Presentations for NeighborhoodsNow available! - The City of Corvallis is piloting a range of live virtual presentations to help neighbors connect on topics of common interest during the pandemic. It's easy! A neighborhood association representative selects from the available topics and submits a request to the staff presenter. Together, the presenter and neighborhood representative coordinate logistics. The City provides a virtual meeting platform and a 20-40 minute presentation with time for Q&A. Neighborhood associations use their communication network to gather an audience for the event. Consider partnering with other associations to increase attendance and broaden perspective!

Preparing for Middle Housing - The Oregon Legislature passed House Bill 2001 in 2019 to address a statewide housing deficit. The law requires cities to adopt standards that allow duplexes on any lot zoned to allow single-family detached dwellings by June 30, 2022. Additional housing types (triplex, fourplex and cottage cluster) must be allowed in "areas" zoned for residential use. Learn more at HB 2001 FAQ | Corvallis' Middle Housing Project.
