211 Info - 211 info connects people with health and social service organizations. This site is intended to be a Community Information Center, supported by Resource Database team. The service includes information & referral and assistance programs for needs such as healthcare, housing and shelter, utility assistance, food and childcare. Learn more.
Neighbor-to-Neighbor Mediation - Landlords and tenants gain a degree of predictability by resolving disputes between themselves. Neighbor-to-Neighbor Mediation offers free, local mediation services for those who may be able to agree with the assistance of a third party facilitator. Learn more.
ASOSU Access the Law - Student Legal Services are offered for OSU students of the Corvallis campus through Access the Law, and paid for through the Corvallis campus student incidental fees. The office provides legal advice and representation to OSU students on a range of dispute types, including landlord / tenant issues, as long as the dispute that does not pertain to the University. Legal Aid of Oregon - Legal Aid Services has a regional office located in Albany, OR. Services are available to those at or below 125% of the poverty level. If you are unsure whether you qualify, you are strongly encouraged to reach out to inquire. Legal Aid represents tenants only in disputes such as (1) Housing cases, like repair issues, housing discrimination, and help with government housing programs (2) Government benefits issues, like SNAP (food stamps), Oregon Health Plan and unemployment insurance benefits (3) Senior law issues, like problems with long term care facilities and elder abuse (4) Consumer issues, like debt collection and bankruptcy (5) Employment problems, like unpaid wages and discrimination. Oregon State Bar Modest Means Program - The Oregon State Bar offers a Modest Means Program to help moderate-income Oregonians with affordable legal assistance. The program is intended to help those who make too much to qualify for Legal Aid services but who cannot afford traditional legal assistance. A small initial consultation fee is required. Those who require additional services pay by the hour on a sliding scale. The Bar also offers videos on a library of Landlord / Tenant issues to help you determine if you have a potential case.
