With just two weeks to go until the filing deadline, no candidates have submitted petitions to run for the Ward 9 City Council seat.

$8 per dog – Pre-registration is open! Drop-ins are welcome too.
Proceeds from Dog Day 2024 will go towards the Life Looks Good On You - Life Jacket Loaner Program.

Build a hearty appetite for your Thanksgiving feast by participating in this family friendly event. This flat course runs through and near Crystal Lake Sports Park. Runners, walkers, kids in strollers and dogs on leashes are all welcome. Electronic timing services provided! All ages welcomed.

Children's Halloween Party

Why only trick or treat downtown, when you can also join the fun, festivities and games planned by Corvallis Parks & Recreation and co-sponsored by our Public Library? Assisted by local high school volunteers, this party is safe, exciting and not too spooky for young children and their parents. Halloween trinkets and, of course, candy will be provided while supplies last. Costumes highly encouraged! Ages 2–11.

City Council to Fill Ward 2 Vacancy in September

The City of Corvallis will fill a vacancy for the Ward 2 City Council seat through an appointment process in early September.

2022 Ward 2 Vacancy Appointment

Councilor Maughan declared a vacancy in the office of Ward 2 City Councilor effective September 1, 2022.

On September 6, 2022, the City Council held a public hearing at which the body appointed Christina Jancila as Ward 2 City councilor. Councilor Jancila will hold office until December 31, 2022.
