Sign regulations are set forth in Chapter 4.7 of the Corvallis Land Development Code (LDC).  A sign permit must be obtained prior to the placement of any sign on private property, unless the sign type is specifically listed as exempt under LDC Section 4.7.40.  Note also that some sign types are prohibited (see Section 4.7.30).

October 6, 2025 - Corvallis City Manager Mark Shepard received the Herman Kehrli Award from the League of Oregon Cities at the organization's 100th annual conference in Portland over the weekend.
