Administrative Policy #10.15 - Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS)/Drone Procedure

Purpose

To establish a process that would allow departments to coordinate and share usage of a Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS), also known as a drone.

Scope

All City Departments that use or have a use for a sUAS.

Administrative Procedure #10.08 - Corvallis-Benton County Public Library Code of Conduct

Purpose

To protect each individual's access to information and Library services, the Library has established the following rules of behavior. These rules maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all community members, protect the rights and safety of Library patrons and staff and preserve and protect the Library's materials, facilities, and property.

Administrative Policy #7.09 - Building Encroachments in the Public Right-of-Way

Purpose

To describe the provisions under which the City of Corvallis will allow private structures to encroach into public right-of-way (ROW). The primary uses of public ROW are for public transportation and utility related infrastructure. Private structure encroachments are subordinate to transportation and utility uses and as such are allowed only in specific locations and under the provisions described herein.

Administrative Policy #10.09 - Library Meeting Rooms

Purpose

To govern public use of Corvallis-Benton County Public Library meeting room spaces.

Scope

Applies to all users of meeting rooms at the Alsea Community Library, Corvallis Public Library, Monroe Community Library, and Philomath Community Library. This policy does not apply to study room spaces.

Administrative Policy #10.07 - Code of Conduct for Patrons at Parks and Recreation Facilities, Events, and Programs

Purpose

To establish rules and regulations to protect the rights and safety of the community and to allow City staff to perform their jobs at all City-owned or managed Corvallis Parks and Recreation Department facilities and at all events or programs sponsored by Corvallis Parks and Recreation Department.

Administrative Procedure #7.13 - Traffic Calming Program

Purpose

The purpose of the Corvallis Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program (NTCP) is twofold: reduce speeds on neighborhood streets and reduce cut-through traffic on adjacent local neighborhood streets.

Scope

The NTCP applies to residential streets with the functional classification of local street or neighborhood collector street as identified in the Corvallis Transportation System Plan (TSP).

Administrative Policy #10.01 - Carnivals, Procedure & Guidelines for License Approval

Purpose

To establish procedures for approval of licenses for carnivals.

Scope

This policy applies to any Class I or Class II Carnival, as defined in the “Definitions” section below, proposed within the Corvallis city limits.

Administrative Policy #7.12 - Street Lighting Devices

Purpose

To establish a consistent and efficient process that enhances public safety through the proper placement of street lights in the public right-of-way (ROW), and procedures for the installation and removal of a street lighting device.
