BMX Track

Location: 

South of downtown, on the east side of 99W South, at the dead end of Chapman Place. The address is 551 Chapman Place.

Size: 

5.8 acres 

The Corvallis BMX Track offers soil berms from which to practice jumps and other BMX stunts.

Timberhill Natural Area

Location: 

On the far northwest side of town, access and parking on the end of 29th Street

Size: 

47 acres 

Not be confused with 6 acre Timberhill Park, Timberhill Natural Area is predominately prairie grassland and White Oak trees, nestled next to Chip Ross Park. It features steep slopes offering fantastic vies of the valley from its undeveloped trails. The property has interconnected Oak groves that offer the ideal wildlife habitat. 

 

Caldwell Natural Area

Location: 

In south Corvallis, West of Hwy 99. No public access at this time.

36 acres 

Rock Creek Park

Location: 

Base of the City of Corvallis Rock Creek watershed on Hwy 34 west of Philomath​.

Size: 

30 acres 

Rock Creek Park is a natural, forested park reserved for permit use only from Corvallis Parks & Recreation.

Kendall Natural Area

Location: 

The address is 1300 SW Fischer Lane in south Corvallis. 

Size: 

80 acres 

Kendall Natural Area offers informal trails through riparian and mixed woodland habitat. The beautiful natural habitat of trees and shrubbery is next to the Crystal Lake Sports Fields

Witham Hill Natural Area

Location: 

In northwest Corvallis, where Circle Blvd. Ends, just past Witham Hill Drive.
 

Size: 

35 acres 

Witham Hill Natural Area features conifer forest and mixed upland forest habitats that include Oregon White Oak. A trail loops through these habitats for approximately one mile, with an established parking area and kiosk at the trail head.
