What is the Code Audit?

In 2018, the City received a grant from the state to pay for a third party expert to review the Land Development Code and identify any legal problems or standards that created barriers to affordable housing. The consultant worked with a committee of local experts and completed this work in 2019. The final code audit report is available here:

A: Nothing. All life jacket rentals are FREE!

Q: Who can rent a life jacket?
A: Everyone! Life jackets are available to anyone who needs one.  

Q: How long can I borrow the life jacket?
A: You are able to borrow them long as needed. Return them as soon as you are done using them. 

Please note: If your family participated in the Life Jacket Loaner Program in Summer 2024,

and you have not yet had a chance to return the borrowed life jacket(s),

you can do so by dropping them off at the Avery Admin Office.
