Q: How much does it cost to rent a life jacket?
A: Nothing. All life jacket rentals are FREE!
Q: Who can rent a life jacket?
A: Everyone! Life jackets are available to anyone who needs one.
Q: How long can I borrow the life jacket?
A: You are able to borrow them long as needed. Return them as soon as you are done using them.
Q: I have multiple family members that need a life jacket. Can I reserve more than one?
A: Absolutely! You can reserve as many as you need for your family.
Q: What information will I need to bring with me to be able to rent an appropriately sized life jacket for my family members?
A: You will need your email and phone number. Life jackets are fitted by weight, and then size. You will need to provide each persons' weight in pounds.
Q: What are the rental hours when I can come by OAC to rent a life jacket?
A: All life jacket rentals can be rented during our regular hours of operation.
Q: What do I need to do to rent a life jacket?
A: Come to Osborn and let the front desk know you would like to rent a life jacket. Cashiers will have you fill out the rental form and issue you a life jacket right away.
Q: What information will I need to provide to rent a life jacket?
A: To rent a life jacket, we will need the main renter to have an up-to-date profile in our ActiveNet system. The information required to create a new profile is Name, Address, DOB and E-Mail.
Q: I think I have a profile, but I am not sure. How can I check?
A: Our front desk staff would be happy to look that up for you and verify the information we have in our system. Give our front desk a call at 541.766.7946 for more information.
Q: What are the ActiveNet profiles used for?
A: This profile will allow you to create a reservation and enroll into any Corvallis Parks and Recreation activity. Your personal information will only be accessed for contact tracing purposes in case of a COIVD-19 outbreak within the facility, or to communicate with you about the life jacket program.
Q: Will I need to wear a mask inside the faculty?
A: No. Masks are welcome but not required in the facility.
Q: How did OAC pay for all these life jackets?
A: OAC was awarded a Grant from the Benton Community Foundation to help fund this program.
