Jan Napack
Jan Napack is the current Ward 1 City Councilor, having served since January 2019. Jan's personal background in Oregon started in Douglas County, where her family relocated in 1974 after hearing about the wonders of Oregon. Jan moved to Corvallis shortly thereafter to attend Oregon State University; she has lived in Corvallis ever since. During these years Jan graduated from college, married, raised a family, and worked in high-tech and forest products industries, and was co-owner of a small business. Jan has been a lifelong volunteer on civic, non-profit, and government committees and boards.
Jan has a deep love and appreciation for this community and its people who make it a vibrant, unique and dynamic city. She describes it as a privilege and honor to be able to serve as a Council member. Jan has a deep respect of people’s situations, personal values, rights and opinions.
