Bike Rack Loan Request Form

The City’s portable bike rack loan program provides bike racks to organizations within Corvallis, free of charge. Located at Public Works, there are 18 portable bike racks available. Each rack measures 10 feet long and 44 inches wide, with space for at least 14 bikes (7 on each side). In addition to the racks, there are three bicycle trailers and three base racks.

Borrower Responsibilities *
(A) The borrower is responsible for the full cost of the repair or replacement of any rack(s) that are damaged, lost, or stolen from the time Borrower assumes custody until they are returned to Public Works. If any rack is lost, stolen or damaged, the borrower agrees to promptly notify Public Works. (B) In consideration for the loan of the rack(s) the borrower agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Public Works harmless from any and all damages, loss, claims, actions, expenses and liability of any nature whatsoever associated with its use of the rack(s) while under the care, custody, and control of the borrower. By submitting this form you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Porter Park New Playground Project

The new Porter Park Playground was COMPLETED October 23, 2022

October 17, 2022 - The construction for the new children’s playground at Porter Park, 1895 NW Hayes Ave., is complete. The Corvallis Parks & Recreation Department celebrated the re-opening of the playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Sunday, October 23 at the park.

Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan-Update

In fiscal year 2022/2023 City staff have initiated an update of the Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan.  The update will follow a public process outlined by the Corvallis City Council and involve a volunteer Task Force of community members with expertise in natural resources, ecology, and land management.
