First ICAN SOLVE Event to Focus on Emergency Preparedness

The Corvallis community is invited to the first-ever ICAN SOLVE event, hosted by the Imagine Corvallis Action Network (ICAN). SOLVE events are designed to bring together community members to focus on generating and refining solutions to problems facing the local community. The May 18 event will focus on community emergency preparedness and will feature issues and challenges developed in partnership with the Corvallis Fire Department, Benton County Sheriff’s Office, and Samaritan Health Services.

City Council/Benton County Board of Commissioners Joint Work Session

The City Council and Board of Commissioners will meet jointly to discuss the Emergency Management Plan, jail space concerns, and next steps for the countywide 9-1-1 service district. 

Everyone is welcome to attend.
