City Council

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend City Council meetings. 

Members of the community wishing to offer comment in advance on topics appearing on any City Council agenda are encouraged to use the public input form at www.corvallisoregon.gov/publicinput.

Oak Habitat Restoration Planned for Herbert Farm and Natural Area

Corvallis Parks and Recreation, through its Urban Forestry section, will restore an ancient oak habitat in Herbert Farm and Natural Area, starting later this summer. The property is a 221-acre, City-owned natural area near the southern edge of Corvallis.

The City of Corvallis Invites Applications for Planning Commission Vacancies

A recruitment to fill two vacancies on the Planning Commission is now open and closes at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 17, 2018. Interviews with the City Council are tentatively planned for Thursday, September 6, 2018.  Interested in applying? Complete a Planning Commission Application Packet.

Free Meeting Space Available for Neighborhood Associations

Neighborhood associations are invited to request free meeting space through a new partnership from the City of Corvallis and the Corvallis School District. The initiative is intended to remove barriers to participation and encourage local involvement in neighborhoods throughout Corvallis. The program started on July 1, when the City of Corvallis and Corvallis School District began their new fiscal years.

Economic Development Advisory Board

The Economic Development Advisory Board consists of six volunteer members appointed by the Corvallis Mayor and three appointed by the Benton County Board of Commissioners.  Membership of the Board represent emerging technology and manufacturing, green/sustainable business, professional services, retail and general business, higher education, health care, and the community at large.
