EV Garbage Truck Display

Republic Services will have one of its new electric garbage hauling trucks parked outside City Hall from 3-4 p.m. February 6 ahead of the City Council's regularly scheduled Work Session. One of the topics on the Work Session agenda involves electric vehicles for Republic Services' waste hauling fleet.

The public is invited to come check out the EV garbage truck and chat with their City Councilors ahead of the work session.

Downtown Parking Task Force Meeting

The Downtown Parking Task Force (DPTF) will be meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the 2nd floor Board Room at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, and virtually online via Zoom.

Executive Session

The Council will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations; (o) to consider matters relating to the safety of the governing body and of public body staff and volunteers and the security of public body facilities and meeting spaces; (p) to consider matters relating to cyber security infrastructure and responses to cyber security threats.

 

Executive Sessions

Planning Advisory Workgroup - South Corvallis

The Planning Advisory Workgroup (PAW) - South Corvallis will be meeting in-person and virtually at 4:00 p.m.

Library Advisory Board

On February 4, 2026 there will be an in person meeting of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library Advisory Board, with a virtual option as well.

NOTICE: Members of the Library Advisory Board will attend an on-site inspection at the Monroe Community Library of the library programs at 6:30 p.m. This is not a public meeting and no quorum is required, as members will not be engaging in deliberations or decisions on matters that could reasonably be foreseen to come before the governing body.
