Outdoor Lap Pool

Size and capacity
The Outdoor Lap Pool, adjacent to the Leisure Pool, is 82 feet by 42 feet wide (six lap lanes, each 7 feet wide). It holds 120,000 gallons with an additional 5,000 gallons in the filter pit and pipes for a total of 125,000 gallons.

Alan B. Berg Natural Area

Location: 

East of the Willamette River, next to the Hwy 34 bypass.  The address is 33900 Roche Lane, off Hwy 20/34.

Size: 

81 acres 

Alan B. Berg Natural Area is undeveloped parkland that was transferred to the City after the 1991 completion of the Hwy 34 bypass. It features riparian, wetland and wet prairie habitats that flood regularly during large rain events. 

Leisure Pool/Otter Beach

Size and capacity
The Leisure Pool, adjacent to the Outdoor Lap Pool, has a free form design, about the shape of a quarter-circle. The pool is roughly 110 feet long by 90 feet wide. It holds 76,000 gallons of water with an additional 5,000 gallons in the filter pit and pipes for a total of 81,000 gallons.

Small Therapy Pool

Size and capacity
The Small Pool, adjacent to the shallow end of the 50 Meter Pool, is 40 feet by 22 feet. It holds  25,000 gallons.

Depth and design
The depth starts at zero feet with the first step, at the bottom of the steps the depth is 2.5 feet and gradually slopes down to 4.5 feet at the deep end. The Small Pool has long, wide access steps with handrails down the middle and along one side that run the full length of the stairs.
