Due to the emergency declaration regarding the COVID-19 epidemic issued by the City Manager on March 13, 2020, all City advisory board meetings are canceled through March 31.

The Economic Development Advisory Board consists of six volunteer members appointed by the Corvallis Mayor and three appointed by the Benton County Board of Commissioners. Membership of the Board represent emerging technology and manufacturing, green/sustainable business, professional services, retail and general business, higher education, health care, and the community at large.
The "three-legged stool" is the current sustainable revenue model that funds key City operations in Corvallis, including services in the Police, Fire, Library, and Parks and Recreation departments. Each leg of the stool (described in more detail below) supports one aspect of City services, and each leg uses a different method for raising revenue and balancing community needs.
The City of Corvallis has launched Corvallis Alert, a new community notification system to provide information to the public during an emergency. Corvallis Alert allows anyone in the Corvallis community to register to receive emergency alerts via text, email, or telephone call.
