Week of 10/19/20 - Neighborhoods

The Neighborhood Update is produced on a weekly(ish) basis by the City of Corvallis to help neighborhoods stay connected. 

City Services Billing Low-Income Assistance Program

The City of Corvallis’s low-income assistance program is designed to assist with the City Services bill.

If you qualify, the assistance program will provide a credit of up to $53.55 each month. A new application will need to be completed annually. Applications can also be received throughout the year, and may take up to 1 month for processing. Please review the Terms and Conditions below before applying.

The listed name of the applicant must also appear on the City Services bill for verification purposes.
Documentation
Please provide one (1) of the following items to show that you qualify for the low-income assistance program. Please use the buttons below to upload a PDF or attach an image, or email your material to lowincome.assistance@corvallisoregon.gov.
Please submit a copy of your Oregon Health Plan eligibility letter. The eligibility letter must include the name of one member of the household that is listed as the City Services account holder(s), and is over the age of 18 or legally responsible for the household.

Please show proof of assistance through SNAP by submitting a recent copy of your statement of benefits.

If you have a child who receives free or reduced lunches at the Corvallis School District, we can use that information to satisfy the requirements for this application. Please show proof by attaching your letter of enrollment from the Corvallis School District of participation in the free lunch program.

Authorization to Contact School District
Please check the box next to "Consent" to authorize the school district to provide verification of free/reduced lunch status for the purposes of this application.

You understand that City of Corvallis staff may need to verify the information on your application and that misrepresenting information will result in denial of the requested assistance and may prohibit future eligibility for low-income assistance for the City Services bill.

Middle Housing Code Update Project

The Middle Housing Code Update Project Was Completed in 2022.

Middle Housing provisions are now contained in the current Land Development Code.

 

Event Permit Application

The Corvallis Fire Code, Section 105.6.35, requires a permit to operate a temporary public assembly event. 

Circle Boulevard Resurfacing Project Nearing Completion

The Circle Boulevard resurfacing project is nearing completion, with just a few last steps before the new road is ready for use in mid-October.
