Plenary Session 2: Area Planning - When, How, & Why

Presenter: Paul Bilotta, Community Development Director

Director Bilotta will provide a broad overview what an area plan is, how and when public input is gathered, and how an area plan influences the development and land uses in a specific area over time. A Q&A session will follow the presentation. Registration is required.

Plenary Session 1: Surveys to Inform & Engage

Presenters: Blair Girard, West Hills Neighborhood Association & Rebecka Weinsteiger, Living Southtown

Blair and Rebecka will discuss how they have used surveys to gather data, inform decisions and discussions, and engage neighbors in topics of common interest.  Blair will provide an example of a general survey to capture input on a "wide" range of topics while Rebecka will speak to the use of a survey to go "deep" on a sensitive topic.  Registration is required.
