Become a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator

Requirements to become a 9-1-1 Telecommunicator 

  • At least 18 years of age at time of hire
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a background investigation
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to meet physical, medical and psychological requirements for the position

 

Salary and benefits

The starting salary for an entry level 9-1-1 Telecommunicator is: 

$29.18 hourly
$5,058 a month
$60,703 annually
