CDBG and HOME Informational Class

The Housing and Neighborhood Services Division will be hosting an informational class about three upcoming funding opportunities provided through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Programs. The class will offer a general overview on these programs, eligible activities for funding, reporting requirements, and an overview of the application process.

Stewardship Plan Update Process

This page contains information about the history of the Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan (CFSP) and the update process during 2022-2026. The 2026 CFSP can be found on the 2026 Corvallis Forest Stewardship Plan page. The CFSP update followed a public process outlined by the Corvallis City Council and involved a volunteer Task Force of community members with expertise in natural resources, ecology, and land management.

What is a Watershed?

 

A watershed is an area of land that channels water, such as rain or snow, into a body of water like a lake, river or stream. Broadly speaking, watersheds are the land that collect, store, and transport water. A watershed can be small, such as an individual lake, or relatively huge, and include hundreds of thousands of square miles.

Where do we get our water?

 

Willamette River

The City's primary source of water is the Willamette River. The City has three surface water rights on the Willamette. During peak water use season in the summer, the Willamette River is the primary source of City water.
