September 22, 2025 - Mailings are beginning this week to invite 3,000 randomly selected households to participate in the biennial Corvallis Community Survey. The City conducts the Corvallis Community Survey every two years to gather statistically valid public input about community satisfaction in several broad categories in Corvallis.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend Charter Review Task Force Phase 1 (CRTF1) meetings. This meeting will be held in-person and virtually. September 16, 2025 - The Corvallis Fire Department is planning to conduct a prescribed fire at Herbert Farm & Natural Area, a 221-acre City-owned parcel near the southern edge of Corvallis. The fire will be planned and conducted by a team of experts, with two primary goals: to restore natural habitats and to reduce wildfire risk.
