Fire Restrictions Start Saturday in Response to Extreme Fire Danger

Beginning on August 12, 2023, the Oregon Department of Forestry will elevate the fire danger level for Benton County to Extreme.

The Council will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(f) (To consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection) at 5:15 pm.

The availability of affordable housing is a vital component to a thriving community. The availability of homes at all income levels means businesses have access to employees with fewer absences. Workers are more stable and invested in their community. Children have the opportunity to thrive in school, and residents can make healthy choices. Research has shown that stable, affordable housing is critical to enabling families to attend to other needs, be self-sufficient and productive members of the community.
