Housing Operational Committee

The Housing Operational Committee (HOC) will meet virtually at 12:00 p.m.

The HOC meets, as needed, to assist staff with preparing draft documents for policy change that will eventually be presented to the Council for review. Read more about the HOC here.

Coordinated Homeless Response

Benton County, the City of Corvallis, and Community Services Consortium (CSC) are part of a pilot program sponsored by Oregon State House Bill 4123 to support a coordinated response to homelessness. The three agencies, along with housing and homeless service providers, have been working together since prior to the pilot program to lay the groundwork for coordinated homeless response. The pilot program includes funding and resources to support and grow existing homelessness response operations.

Corvallis Police Investigate Shooting on March 19, 2023

 On March 19, 2023 at approximately 10:35 pm, Officers of the Corvallis Police Department responded to the area of NW 9th Street near NW Walnut Blvd for a report of two vehicles ramming each other while traveling westbound on NW Walnut Blvd. Additionally, the caller reported hearing a gunshot. Officers quickly located both vehicles and safely detained who they believe to be all involved persons in the area.

Planning Commission Vacancies

A recruitment to fill two vacancies on the Planning Commission is now open and closes on May 12.

Lockers

Osborn Aquatic Center is open year round! The two outdoor pools open up seasonally June 26th to September 1st and the two indoor pools are open throughout the year. There is some fun to do for the entire family. 


Daily Locker Rentals 

For your convenience we offer day-use lock rentals. Locks are limited and are rented on a first-come, first-serve basis. All pool visitors are encouraged to lock their valuables. The City of Corvallis is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
