Filing Deadline Approaches for Upcoming November Election

August 14, 2024 – The deadline for City Council candidates to file for the upcoming November 5, 2024, general election is less than two weeks away. All paperwork must be submitted, verified, and filed no later than August 27, 2024.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to submit final paperwork as soon as possible to allow adequate time for processing. Nomination packets outlining the process for becoming a candidate are available on the City website and in-person at City Hall, Corvallis Public Library, C3 Community Center, and Osborn Aquatic Center. A recording of the Election Information Session is available online.

All nine City Council seats will be up for election in November. The status of current filings, including the names of candidates who have filed in each ward, is available on the City website.
