City Permits Major Update: May 2nd-5th

SCHEDULED SERVICES INTERRUPTION: The City of Corvallis will perform a major upgrade to the Permits system (permits.corvallisoregon.gov). This upgrade will take place from 5 PM on Friday, May 2nd, through the evening of Sunday, May 4th. We expect the system to be accessible the morning of Monday, May 5th.

All building and development permit services (such as submitting applications, making payments, and uploading/accessing documents) will be unavailable during this time.

Van Buren Bridge Construction Zone Safety Operation

The Corvallis Police Department will be performing construction zone safety operations during commute times for the next several weeks. The goal is to improve safety for drivers and construction crews while the Van Buren Bridge is being replaced, through education and enforcement of Oregon traffic laws.

On October 20, 2023, the City of Corvallis, Oregon published a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Personal Services MCC-2023-01 for City Attorney.

Fire Station 3 Grand Opening Ceremony

The Corvallis Fire Department invites the public to join us for a grand re-opening of the newly remodeled Fire Station 3, located at 1310 NW Circle Blvd., on Sunday, November 19.

The event will begin with a formal recognition ceremony at 2 p.m., followed by an open house and guided tours of the remodeled fire station.

Time, Place, and Manner Operational Advisory Workgroup

The Time, Place, and Manner Operational Advisory Workgroup (TPMOAW) will meet virtually at 4:00 p.m.

The TPMOAW meets, as needed, to assist staff with determining time, place and manner regulations. TPMOAW will not be discussing policy changes or potential projects such as making camping legal, creating a sanctioned camp, creating a managed camp, etc. Those topics would need to be discussed in a different process dedicated to that purpose.

Putting a Bike on a Bus Rack

Have you ever wanted to take your bike with you while riding a CTS or Philomath Connection bus?  It is actually quite easy. Bikes are not allowed inside the bus but each bus is equipped with a bike rack that can carry two bikes at a time. Bikes are welcome on Corvallis Transit System buses! Follow these simple tips to safely load and unload a bike from a city bus.
