January 24, 2024 – The due process hearing to consider the possible violation of the City Charter by Councilor Charlyn Ellis scheduled for February 5, 2024, has been postponed.
January 23, 2024 – The attorney representing Councilor Charlyn Ellis in the due process hearing to consider her possible violation of the City Charter filed a lawsuit on January 22, 2024 in Benton County Circuit Court. Along with seeking declaratory and injunctive relief, the lawsuit seeks a preliminary injunction to stop the hearing process.

January 17, 2024 - The City of Corvallis has suspended normal operations for Wednesday, January 17, 2024, due to persistent hazardous conditions on area roadways. Additional precipitation overnight did not improve the amount of ice and snow on area roadways. All City facilities will be closed on January 17, and all scheduled events and programs are canceled.
