The City of Corvallis is actively seeking grant funds to continue the planning process for these much-needed improvements.This is not an active project until funding is secured.
April 10, 2024 - It's that time of year - we're recruiting for volunteers to serve on the City's network of advisory groups. There are more than a dozen different boards, commissions, and committees recruiting right now. We've also got vacancies on many long-running boards such as the Climate Action Advisory Board, Library Board, and the Community Police Review Board.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend City meetings. This meeting will be held in-person and virtually. See the published agenda for work session details and participation instructions.
April 12, 2024 - The City is accepting applications for the 2024 Green Grants program through May 13, 2024. This year, the program has $5,000 available for small dollar grants to make sustainable improvements related to recycling, green space, energy efficiency, active transportation, water conservation, community gardens, and other topics from the Corvallis Climate Action Plan.
The City of Corvallis and Benton County are moving forward with plans for a food hub in South Corvallis! As part of the strategic planning process, the City will be seeking bids from firms interested in serving as operator(s) of parts of the new food hub concept. The operator(s) will develop and manage the day-to-day activities associated with the food hub activity, and will serve as the primary point of contact for food providers who might utilize the particular function of the hub.
